$\displaystyle 2x=t$로 치환하면 문제의 적분은 $\displaystyle \frac12\int_{-1}^1\left(\frac1{1+t^2}\right)dt$가 된다.

이때 $\displaystyle \tan\left(-\frac\pi4\right)=-1$, $\displaystyle \tan\left(\frac\pi4\right)=1$이므로 구하는 값은 $\displaystyle \frac12\left(\frac\pi4-\left(-\frac\pi4\right)\right)=\frac\pi4$

[문제 1-2]

$\displaystyle x=2\sin\theta$로 치환하면 $\displaystyle \int\frac1{\sqrt{4-x^2}}dx=\theta$인데,

$\displaystyle 0=2\sin0$, $\displaystyle 1=2\sin\frac\pi6$이므로 구하는 적분값은 $\displaystyle \frac\pi6-0=\frac\pi6$이다.
